This seminar about Holographic techniques will be presented by Elias Kiritsis Directeur de Recherche au CNRS

Holographic techniques rooted in string theory have provided a novel and powerful window in order to understand strongly-coupled gauge theories. Such techniques are used for strongly coupled systems at finite density with the goal of generating a variety of new mechanisms for charge transport and the associated conductivity landscape. I will explain recent progress in the study of holographic metals, insulators and incoherent metals.
