The physics Section and the School of chemistry and biochemistry, together with the Faculty of Science, are pleased to invite you to a lecture by Professor Alan J. Heeger entitled “Plastic Solar Cells: Self-Assembly of Bulk Heterojunction Nano-materials by Spontaneous Phase Separation “. It will be held on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at 18:30 in the Grand Auditorium of the School of Physics, 24 Quai Ernest-Ansermet. It will be preceded by a collation open to all in the presence of the speaker.

Alan Heeger obtained the Nobel Prize in chemistry in the year 2000, along with Alan G. MacDiarmid and Hideki Shirakawa, for the discovery and development of conductive polymers, in particular for his research on polyacetylene.
