A spotlight on the activities of the Group of Applied Superconductivity of the DQMP led by Prof. Carmine Senatore was posted on the official website of the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study at CERN.
“Spotlight On” is the regular news series about EuroCirCol partners within the FCC study.
The objective of EuroCirCol project is to develop the conceptual design of a future energy frontier hadron collider infrastructure as an international, collaborative effort under European leadership.
In this project, the Group of Applied Superconductivity has the role to define the electromechanical limits of the superconducting wires envisaged for use in the next generation accelerator magnets.
