|Hop> an innovative quantum physics game
João Ferreira, PhD researcher at the DQMP, UNIGE and the recipient of the Cogito grant, has completed the development of his innovative quantum physics board game, |Hop>.
With the aim of explaining complex quantum concepts in an engaging and accessible way, João has produced a game where fun and learning go hand-in-hand. The game takes players on a journey through a crystal, where strategic movements of electrons lead you to victory, providing players with an intuitive understanding of quantum mechanics, no math required.
|Hop> is finally available to buy and part of the proceeds will be used to donate games to the Girls in Quantum initiative. So, join the crowdfunding campaign on Wemakeit, set to ensure that this tool can reach classrooms and homes alike.
